Terms of use
The rules for using this site, and what our rankings and guides are and are not.
Last updated 3 November 2026
These terms apply to your use of BestWasteCompanies.co.uk. By using the site you accept them.
What the site is
Best Waste Companies is an independent information site. We research and rank waste and clearance companies and publish general guides. We do not provide waste services, take bookings or act as an agent for any company we list.
Our rankings and guides
- Rankings and scores are our opinion, based on the evidence we could find on the date shown on each page. They are not a guarantee of any company's service, prices, licensing or insurance.
- Information about companies, prices, permits and council services can change. Always check details directly with the company or council before you book, and check a firm's waste carrier number on the relevant public register.
- Our guides are general information and not legal, financial or professional advice.
- Any contract you make is between you and the company you choose. We are not responsible for the services they provide.
Links to other websites
We link to company websites, councils, regulators and other sources. We are not responsible for the content or availability of other websites, and a link does not mean we endorse everything on that site.
Using our content
The text, rankings, design and images on this site belong to us. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with a link back to the source. Please do not copy or republish substantial parts of the site without our permission.
Our liability
We work hard to keep the site accurate, but it is provided "as is" without any warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the law of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there.
